During talk therapy, individuals can develop healthier coping patterns, gain problem solving strategies and learn communication skills while receiving emotional support and validation.
Examples of talk therapy techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
